Colts Rugby Ely Tigers under 12s made it a clean sweep at a youth rugby festival held near London.
The young Tigers travelled to the Saracens amateur rugby festival to face off against some of the strongest youth teams from around the region.
Ely began their campaign against hosts Saracens and, as the team has shown throughout the season, was able move the ball very well. Together with some fearless tackling and sheer strength, Ely dominated the start of the match. The forwards were strong and the backs were unselfish and quick, helping Ely storm to a 25-0 win.
In the second game, against Hammersmith, Ely had to defend hard but managed to score on the break, winning 5-0.
Due to some teams dropping out, Ely only had to beat Chesham to win the event. The Chesham team gave a good run but Ely again scored a 5-0 win.
