THESE three Ely Tigers will make their debuts for the East Region under-17s girls' rugby side on Sunday.
After competing with girls from eight other counties, Alex Marshall, 15, Emma Jamieson, 17, and Charlie Reynolds, 17, impressed selectors from the Rugby Football Union for Women.
Ely coach Debbie Marshall said: "The selectors were particularly impressed by the girls' skills, fitness and focus."
The girls will play against the West Midlands and East Midlands sides in Leicestershire on Sunday, and they will play in Ely on April 1 against Yorkshire and the North East.
Ely Tigers girls' team train every Wednesday, from 7pm, at the clubhouse on Downham Road, Ely. New players are always welcome and more information is available by e mailing
