The Ross Peers Sports Centre in Soham got in the Olympic spirit by hosting its own multi-sport competition.
The annual Junior Superstars competition attracted dozens of children from around Cambridgeshire who went head-to-head in sports such as football, netball, archery and the long jump across three age groups.
Medals and prizes were given out for the winners and organiser Claire Norton said it was enjoyed by all.
She said: “The competition went very well. We had 54 children take part and they all had a great time.”
