Tennis club junior honoured for landmark season

Julian-receiving-his-award

Tennis Ely Tennis Club’s Julian Brooks picked up the junior player of the year award this week.

Brooks, aged 10, has won six tournaments in various counties in the last year and received recognition for his efforts from Ely’s academy director, Sebastien Scaux, and from Graham Brown, director of Forces Recruitment Services, which sponsored the award.

Scaux said: “Julian is an excellent player and last year achievement was a real surprise. I knew Julian was special but to achieve the results so quickly was amazing. “10is Academy is lucky to have such a player. We are also fortunate to have Ely Tennis Club as partners and have the support of the community such as Forces Recruitment Services to sponsor us and help us reach higher goals.”
