THE City of Ely Swimming Club raised more than �700 for club funds with a special bag-packing day in Ely at the weekend.
Club members spent a full day sorting, and packing at the Waitrose supermarket in Brays Lane and managed to raise more than �700.
The money will go towards subsidising events at the club - including coaches to galas and paying for some children to take part in County and Regional events that they may otherwise be unable to attend.
