It’s been another successful weekend for the Soham United Youth Football Club after the under seven boys and under 12 girls won their games.
Report:
The girls welcomed Melbourn Dynamos as they played the first round of the women’s U12 cup games. Soham girls were quick and alert.
They played with urgency, pushing Melbourn into their own half for most of the game.
Soham Keeper saw very little come her way and the girls kept a clean sheet winning 3 - 0 and moving into the second round of the cup games.
Another first for Soham this past weekend saw the U7s play their very first league game against Newmarket Town.
The boys played well and held their positions allowing the ball to do the work, a very successful start to the season for this young team.
The U14s played their third game of the season and once again won finishing 4 - 0 at home against Kennett. Once again keeping up the winning stride.
