SOHAM Town Rangers U18s continued their impressive form with a 1-1 draw away to high-flyers Kings Lynn U18s.
Soham more than held their own in a game that was settled by two penalties, both of which came late in the second-half.
The Linnets have lost only once this season and currently top the Ridgeons Youth League but Soham showed no signs of being overawed as they continued in their fine run of form that has seen them win three out of five games this season.
Lynn were on the attack from the first whistle with Soham forced onto the back foot for much of the opening exchanges. Jamie Chamberlain was on top form in the Soham goal however, and made a number of fine saves to keep the scores level.

Overstretched by their commitment to attack, Lynn become vulnerable to the counter in the second-half and a fast break just short of 70 minutes saw Soham awarded a penalty. Jordan Alexander duly converted the spot-kick to put the visitors ahead.
The lead wasn't to last however, as the Linnets benefitted from a penalty of their own and levelled the scores on 75 minutes to set-up a tense last quarter.

The final 15 minutes of the game saw chances-a-plenty fall to either side but once more Chamberlain was on hand to deny the home side with a number of fine saves.
The draw sees Soham remain in fifth place in the league on ten points having played only five games, some four games less than the teams above them.
