Soham United’s second girls’ team broke into the league this season when the U11s played their first game against Chesterton at home.
Their coach says the girls “portrayed true team spirit” when each team member had a go in goal.
A spokesman said: “They played exceptionally well, unfortunately due to lack of experience and players they lost their first league game.”
The U14s boys also played their first 11-aside game in the Rover Colts League against the Swavesey Spartans Football Club.
The spokesman added: “The boys dominated the game with four goals from our captain, three from our striker and one from our holding midfielder.
“The final score was 8-2, winning their first home game.”
The U12s yellows played away against Chatteris Town, their coach says the boys “dominated the game”.
The spokesman added: “The boys dominated the game keeping a clean sheet and wining by 4-0.
“Chatteris put up a brave fight and continued to press however were held back by our dedicated defenders.”
