Soham United Youth Football club have reached a milestone with 150 children registered and playing on a weekly basis either at home or away.
Accia Sharpe, of the club, said: “The kids are loving it and our dedicated coaches have been doing a brilliant job with their teams.
“Well done guys all your efforts are much appreciated.
“We had four home games this week, with our U14’s playing away against Histon Hornets, who have also been undefeated thus far.
“Soham played a very tactical game which worked in their favour and they ended 3-1 putting an end to Histon Hornets winning run, meaning Soham United U14’s remains unbeaten and on top of the rovers league.
“Our under 12 girls played the second round in their league games facing Bottisham back to back.
“The girls showed brilliant ball control and team spirit defeating Bottisham for the second time in a row ending their game 1-0, meaning Soham girls maintain their lead in their league.

“The U7’s had another amazing game this week show casing their excellent football skills.
“Our under 12 blacks also enjoyed victory in the second round in the cup games finishing their game 2-1 moving onto the next round.”
