A POLISHED display from Soham Town Rangers saw them cruise past Aylesbury United 4-0.
The Greens stuttered somewhat through their opening two league encounters, but there was no sign of nerves on this occasion as goals at key junctures kept Ian Benjamin's side dominant throughout the match.
Soham started the game with commendable attacking vigour, and they were rewarded just six minutes in as new-signing Deakan Napier netted his own rebound after a teasing ball from Charles Libam.
It was Napier again who came to the fore just minutes later as he sent young Dubi Ogbonna clear, with the latter continuing to make waves across at step five with another clinical finish.
The two early blows for Soham caused the game to open up as the home side threw numbers forward in search of a way back into the match.
Unfazed though, Soham defended resolutely and new custodian Jamie Chamberlain, impressed once more with a number of competent saves. The Greens extended their lead to three just after half-an-hour when Michael Simpson fired a grandstand overhead kick into the top-corner.
