EXCEPTIONAL routines from members of the Ely Artistic Roller Skating Club saw them steal the show at a national gala event held at the weekend.
Club members took on some of the best and brightest from across the country at an event held at the Ross Peers Sports Centre in Soham, coming away with no fewer than 11 medals, four of which were gold.
Despite a record number of entrants from clubs across the country, Ely led the way in the figures events with Emma Taylor and Gemma Turner taking gold medals, Ellena Barnes-Weston silver and Zoe King, Natalie Graver and newcomer Emily Amas taking bronze medals.
Ellena Barnes-Weston took the gold for Solo Dance and silver with Hannah Barclay for duo dance, whilst Emily Amas won a bronze.
Silver medals were won by Emma Taylor for free and Sophie Woodbridge for her OSP, to cap a fine outing for the club.
