A STUNNING display from shooting duo Anita Reidy and Rachel Starling, ensured Ely III notched up a comprehensive 26-17 victory over Burwell.
Ely III gained the upper hand from the outset and finished the first quarter well on top at 8-1.
The team welcomed back Gemma Munns who joined the defensive unit of Naomi Mercer and Charlotte Butcher, the trio keeping Burwell at bay with some superb interceptions.
They were also joined by guest player Vicky Mack, who together with Jo Hayward, commanded the centre third and fed the ball perfectly to the in-form shooting partnership of Reidy and R Starling who wowed the crowd with their shooting.
Reidy was later nominated player of the match for her performance.
