ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD Emily Slater performed superbly to finish second in the British Junior Golf Championships.

Emily, from Ely, narrowly missed out on qualification for a place in the World Junior Golf Championships, in America.

She almost hit her first hole-in-one, tapping in for a birdie on the 175-yard 16th hole of a course at the world famous Belfry Golf Club last Friday.
