A YOUNG clay pigeon shooter from Soham is preparing to test his eye against some of the best on the continent after he was selected to represent Great Britain at the European Championships.
17 year-old Harry Seal was given news of his place on the national team by the British U21 manager following a superlative showing at four rigorous selections shoots in Gloucester last month.
Harry first took to the sport as a fresh-faced 11-year-old and was keen from the outset to reach national standard, oft considered the pinnacle of the sport.
"I have been hoping to reach this level ever since I first started and my goal from now is to make sure I stay at this level, he said.
"I have got the European championships in France coming up in July and if I do well there and impress the team managers then my next goal will be the world championships in Australia in November.
