A MAGNIFICENT row by the King's School Ely's J15 coxed quad won a silver medal in the National Junior Sculling Head, at Dorney Lake, site of last year's World Championships.
Robert Deamer, Laurence Dugdale, Max Hutchins and James Scott, coxed by Edward Cumberland, covered the
1,900-metre course in only
6mins 50.7sec.
Following trials at Peterborough, on Sunday, the squad has been selected to represent the Eastern Region in the Inter-regional Championships next month, and Scott has been chosen to represent the region in the J15 single sculls event.
