ELY City will be looking to find some consistency as they head into the weekend's game against Kirkley and Pakefield.
The Robins have been stuttering of late with a good win against Dereham soon cancelled out by a 4-2 reverse away at CRC. Dennis Lightning's side come up against a side just three points ahead of them however, and will be looking to get a good win under their belts.
Kirkley and Pakefield come into the game on the back of two straight losses but have still won three out of their last five. Despite sitting only three points above Ely, they have an infinitely more frugal defence than Ely's having conceded only 17 goals so far this term. Ely meanwhile have seen 42 goals put past them.
A win would mean the Robins move level on points with the visitors on 24 with Kirkley having played some five games less.
