FREE coaching will be available from world number one bowler Greg Harlow and a host of other England internationals at the two City of Ely Bowls Club open nights.

Harlow will be joined by England number one Nicky Brett as well as Andrew Ware and Sarah Seymour, and it is hoped that Commonwealth gold medallist Ellen Falkner will also be attending.

Press secretary for City of Ely Bowls Club, Rosemary Ware, said: "We really want to show people that bowls is a rewarding and inexpensive hobby. The club is keen to recruit people of all ages and I'm obviously delighted to have these top-class bowlers on hand to provide free coaching."

Equipment hire is free and anyone can come and look around the club with no obligation to join.

The first open night will be on Wednesday and the second on August 23, at the City of Ely Bowls Club, Nutholt Lane from 7pm. For more information contact Brian Roberts on 01353 664252.
