LITTLEPORT 1st XI were made to suffer at the hands of a belligerent Great Chishill side as they lost out by eight wickets.
Sent in to bat first, only Terry Stone managed to score with any real comfort for Port as he nudged his way to 41. There was little else of note for the home side however, as they found themselves dismissed for just 103.
Port's reply with the ball was seldom as effective as their clinical opponents and, aside from a couple of early breakthroughs, Chishill reached their target in a little shy of 15 overs.
