The 41st Cambridgeshire Senior Badminton Tournament will be held at the Burwell Sports Centre on January 25 and 26.
The men's singles will feature Daniel Plant of Essex - the only defending champion in the tournament - who is hoping to take the title for the seventh successive year.
Top seed in the ladies' singles is Alison Pulford from Norfolk, but Cambridgeshire players Olga Bryant and Natalie Taylor - who are both having a successful season in the Inter County League, will be hoping to spring surprises.
The men's singles begins on Friday at 6pm and will continue on Saturday. Play on Saturday begins at 9.30am with the ladies' singles, followed by the doubles events. Admission is free.
