RECORDS tumbled at the Oakley 20m event at the weekend as a number of Ely Runners recorded new club and personal bests.
Stephen Pettit lead the way for Ely as he came home in fourth place overall, picking up a new personal best time along with a new club MV40 record. There was also notable success for Graham Chapman whose time of 2:17:57 secured 39th place overall and a new personal best time.
Emily Knight also registered a new personal best time of 3:22:30 as she came home in 669th place out of the 789 who lined up at the start of the race held in Bedfordshire.
