MILDENHALL suffered penalty trauma at the quarter-final stage of the competition on Tuesday night.
With Saturday's FA Vase match in mind, Mildenhall boss Trevor Munns opted to rest several key players.
After 120 minutes of football failed to find a goal, Mildenhall missed their first two penalties, with Gareth Simpson's shot well-saved and then substitute Paul Miles shooting well over.
Successful conversions from Wisbech's Luke Kennedy and Andy Lodge followed, before Wayne Goddard gave the visitors hope.
Martin McNeil made it 3-1 and when Coren Hardy pulled one back, Mildenhall were relying on a miss from Stuart Cobb, but the midfielder made no mistake.
- Mildenhall will be battling with Sherborne, of Division One of the Toolstation Western League, for a place in the last 16 of the FA Vase on Saturday. The match, at Recreation Way, starts at 3pm.
