WITCHAM lost out to an impressive Little Downham side in the long-awaited final of the Albert Thulborn six-a-side competition on Sunday.

Held at the home of Littleport CC, the final was a low scoring game with Witcham's total of 59-1 easily passed by the Little Downham team with seven balls to spare.

Eight teams took part in the competition in all with Downham defeating Witcham II in the semi-finals while Witcham beat Ely City.
