PYMOOR'S run of five straight wins was brought to an end at the weekend thanks to a scintillating display from Fordham 2nd XI.

Batting first, Pymoor got off to a solid start, reaching 45 for the loss of just a single wicket. Things went rapidly downhill thereafter however, as Fordham's Phil Dean (3-19) and Chris Rule (3-18) tore into the top order, removing all 10 wickets for just 89.

Chamilla Priyankara (35) and Chris Rule (28) did much of the damage for Fordham in reply as they polished off an impressive win with just one wicket lost.
