Men's League
A HOME draw with Ely Beet B and a big win at Soham B increased Newmarket's lead over Littleport, who beat Stretham but crashed at Isleham.
After a poor start to the season, losing five of the first six matches, Fordham have staged a recovery to reach the third spot but still have a lot to do at 16 off the top. Chippenham were the only team to lose both their games last week.
Ladies' League
TWO more four-pointers for Isleham strengthened their hold on the trophy they won last year. Soham B remain second and are now followed by Fordham, who crushed them by 40 shots. City of Ely played only once and the narrow victory over Ely Beet A was enough to keep them in contention. Haddenham picked up a maximum 10 points from their two encounters, but they stay in the bottom half of the table.
