Ely continued their winning streak on Saturday, capturing their fifth consecutive victory, beating Comberton II, 36-23.

Comberton took the lead, but after some excellent attacking play, with centre Donna Liddington feeding the ball well down the court, Ely regained the lead.

After pulling away during the second and third quarter, the victory was all but sealed for Ely. Cassie Start put in an excellent performance as goal defence and Amy Beck was dominant in her shooting.

- Ely II continued their winning form, putting on an outstanding display to defeat Soham II. Ely were in command from the start and, with excellent defending from Victoria Cutforth and Sally Shipley, had a convincing lead of 24-4 at half-time.

Trina Baldock and Janice Quarrier were in superb form in the circle, ensuring Ely II finished with a comfortable 59-13 win.

Janice Quarrier was player of the match.
