ELY have played catch up with their league fixtures this week, meeting Division Two opponents B52's last Thursday evening and Comberton IV on Saturday.
Against B52's Ely had no shape or rhythm at first. Squandering many of their own centres they sat back and watched as mistakes occurred. By the final whistle Ely looked confident again and came out winners, 47-25.
Changes were forced upon the team when they travelled to Comberton IV two days later.
After an unsettlingly close first quarter, Ely pulled steadily away from their young opponents. Whilst Comberton never gave up Ely eventually beat them 41-21.
