Four future roller hockey stars are on the hunt for sponsorships after securing places in England’s national hockey team.
Will Cousins, Josh Andrews, Mark Read and Ed Rawlinson have been selected to train with their country’s under 17 squad, with a view of being included in the lineup for the European roller hockey championships, which are being held in Portugal later this year.
The quartet have been training for their big break for months, travelling around Europe to take part in training camps to improve their skills.
Will and Josh ply their trade for their clubs in Ely and Cambridge, while Ed and Mark play for Cottenham.
The lads are now on the look out for sponsorship, having funded their travels and equipment for training themselves by hosting baking sessions, raffles and charity buckets,
