ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD Harley Pyne is to take on a sponsored motocross beach race on Saturday.
Harley, from Haddenham, will be raising money for reflex sympathetic dystrophy and chronic regional pain syndrome, which his 18-year-old sister suffers from. This has caused her intense pain in limbs and joints and she spent weeks in a wheelchair last year because of the condition.
Many children suffer from this condition, with no cure, and little is known about it.
The race is of 45 minute duration, with 150 10 to 12-year-old's taking part, over a three-mile course of sand dunes and jumps.
This will be Harley's first attempt at the race, after having only taken up motocross this year and he has currently managed to collect £200 through sponsorship.
