A FAMILY from Ely completed a hugely successful assault on the region's table tennis tournaments this week as they picked up four titles at the Cambridgeshire Table Tennis Championships.
The Mohan family team, made up of father Liam and sons Christian, Patrick and Kieran, added their four wins at the County event to the five title haul they picked up at last week's Ely and District Tournament held in Soham, bringing their total number of titles to nine overall.
As well as resounding success in the Junior and Men's Doubles at the Ely event there was also wins in the Senior and Junior Singles as well as the Over 50s title. At the Cambridgeshire event the Mohan's once again secured the Junior Doubles and Junior Singles with wins in the Constable Cup and handicap event completing the tally.
Elsewhere across the tournaments there were notable successes for Soham's Martin Freeland in the Ely Men's Singles final as he overcame Fulbourne's Terry Lane in four sets.
