BATTING first, Fordham made slow progress until Geoff Arnold (31) and a 71-run partnership between Scott Blaber (47) and Nev Bussingham (24) put the home side in a strong position.
The run rate decreased after their dismissal and Fordham finished on 148-5.
A heavy downpour made conditions difficult for the Fordham bowlers but the match still remained in the balance due to some tight bowling.
But Milton eventually gained the upper hand and they reached their target with four wickets down and 3.4 overs remaining.
