TWO goals came from potential new signing Chad Miller as Soham Town Rangers beat Littleport 2-0 in the Mick North Memorial match last Thursday.
Mick North, who was chairman of Littleport Leisure Centre and the competition secretary for the Cambridgeshire FA, died in a car crash on Christmas Eve, 1999. Mick's wife Pat, who attended the match, suffers from multiple sclerosis and more than £100 was raised towards helping people who have the condition.
Littleport put up a very strong fight against the Ridgeons Premier League team but a goal in each half from Miller secured the win.
