ELY City travel to bottom-of-the-league Haverhill Rovers on Friday in a game that could prove decisive in their battle against relegation.

Just four points currently separate the Robins from the ignominy of a place in the bottom two and with opponents Haverhill having accumulated just 12 points so far this season, the need for all three points has become vital.

Ely have been on poor form in the league of late however, with just one win in their last five games meaning that they will have to be on top form to secure the vital points despite the lowly status of their opponents.

Denis Lightning will be boosted though, by the news that he will have a squad of 20 players to choose from, an abundance of choice that the Robins have not had for almost the entire season as they have had to cope with countless injuries and suspensions.
