Littleport Lions Korfball traded their nets and korfballs for knives and forks as they saw out their successful campaign with an end-of-season meal.
The team’s players gathered at the Spice Lounge in the town for food and an awards ceremony, which saw the club’s finest players rewarded for their hard work over the season.
Most improved male went to Jack Barry, while Chelsea Harrison scooped the most improved female. Anitia Rakauskaite bagged best attacker and Danny Mathie was given the ‘outstanding contribution to the club’ gong.
Jenny Barlow, James Chinery Colyer, Lolly Neaves, Lindsey Neaves, Tom Brennand, Tom Kelly, Chris Tull and captain Alex Andrews were also recognised for their achievements throughout the season.
