Carpet Bowls LITTLEPORT Village Hall completed the double on Wednesday evening by winning the final of the East Cambs Carpet Bowls Association Knock-Out Cup for the 2013 Season.

Their win came shortly after they wrapped up the Division 1 title of the East Cambs Carpet Bowls League.

The cup final was held at Ross Peers Sports Centre, in Soham. In the final, the first two games of four’s saw Littleport get away to a good start by winning them 8-3,7-6. Their opponents, Swaffham Prior, put up a good fight during the next four games of pairs but unfortunately did not manage to win and the final score was 48 shots to 23.
