ANOTHER tight game on Friday saw Lions go down 10-9 to Cambridge Tigers in korfball.
For the second week Lions lost by the same score. Unlike last week Lions dominated for the majority of the match and came within a whisker of securing their first ever win over Tigers.
Four goals from England's Matt Brookes and a fine hat trick from U-18 Hayley Evans capped a great all-round team performance.
Sunday's match saw an inexperienced Lions IV put up a great performance against Cambridge City III before again loosing by a single goal 8-7.
