The National Cup will involve teams competing in 100 venues across five counties battling for a place in the finals in London.

Spaces for the tournament will be offered, firstly to teams playing in organisers Soccersixes' leagues, and then to outside teams.

Soccersixes operate a league every Sunday on Ely Hockey Club's Astroturf pitch between 6-9pm with 16 teams taking part every week. There is one space remaining for this league and any team wishing to join will receive free entry and a free kit.

Soccersixes director Matthew Scoffham said: "We are still ironing out details with sponsors but we expect the prize money to be in the region of £5,000.

"Teams can test themselves against the best, can enter to win, for fun, or for a family day out, we are certain it will be an enjoyable event for all"

Any team that enters will play three qualifying matches and could have up to 20 games before the final.

The fee is £10 per player for the whole event. Soccersixes' leagues are FA affiliated, officiated by qualified referees and supported by Everton midfielder Lee Carsley.
