GYMNAST Laura Cole, from Littleport, has won a national title at the British Gymnastics Challenge Cup Junior Section National Championships in Aldershot.
Fifteen year-old British Champion Laura, who attends Ely Community College, is a member of the Bury Spectrum Gymnastics Club where she has trained five or six days each week since she was eight years-old.
Laura's success is a superb result for the Bury club, and she took the national title with a score of 46.150 for her Gold medal. She also took the gold for the Beam event, as well as silver medals in the vault and floor, the latter being one of her favourite events having taken the champions title at the Espoirs age level in 2005.
This latest success rounded off a superb season for the Littleport gymnast, who had clinched yet another national title earlier in the season - the Club Grade One British Championship.
Laura's next big competition will be the British Championships in June.
