Ely Vikings 8 Cambridge Tigers IV 4

ELY Vikings won their second game in a row to end the season in style.

Vikings started off in confident fashion with early goals from Mo Matthews and Mike Watts, and after some free-flowing passing and movement, went into half-time with a 5-1 lead after Tom Evans and Julie Dawes got on the scoresheet.

The second half was a much closer affair, and the win means that Ely finished the season in fifth place.

# Vikings are holding a sponsored walk on Sunday (April 29) which anyone can join.

The walk will start at 10.30am from Barton Square, and is approximately five miles.

This will be to raise money for the club, and more information is available at www.vikingskorfball.btik.com or by speaking to Robert Wootton on 07779 122157.

The Vikings welcome new players and anyone interested should contact Mr Wootton on the number above.
