Four members of King's Ely's equestrian team have qualified for one of the UK's largest horse shows after competing in Bury St Edmunds earlier this month.
George Hearn, Emily Gredley, Adele Shaw and Ryan Se Sousa travelled to Bury St Edmonds to compete in this year’s qualifiers for the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The team came second in the 90cms class of more than 40 riders, and clear rounds by Adele and Emily meant that the team finished in only four faults, securing their place at the Royal Windsor Show.
George and his pony also produced a clear round in the 80cms class on the day and Adele’s clear round saw her winning fourth place individually.
Sue Cameron, manager of the equestrian team, said: “The qualifiers for the Royal Windsor Horse Show are highly competitive and there were a lot of talented riders there on the day.
“I am so proud of the team.
“They rode brilliantly and I cannot wait to support them all at Windsor in May!”
