Nine members of the school’s team competed in the NSEA Arena Eventing, Jumping with Style and Dressage Competition in Bedfordshire last month.

The 80cms team of Ryan Shaw, Adele Shaw and Ellie Grimsey rode some superb rounds but were unplaced. However, Adele won the class as an individual at her first schools event.

Adele’s success didn’t end there. She also won the 90cms class, with over 50 competitors. The rest of the team; Ellie Grimsey, Ryan Shaw and Eleanor Fairey also rode superb rounds, placing them third overall and giving them a qualification for the Championship plate in December. Adele also qualified as an individual for the National Championships in October.

Katie Cameron rode as an individual in the 1m and 1m 10cms classes. Katie rode one of very few clears in the 1m class and was placed fifth out of 34 riders. She was also third in the 1m 10cms class, giving her a qualification at both heights for the Championship plate in December.
