Three King’s Ely Junior swimmers made a splash by winning medals at the Cambridgeshire ASA County Development Championships in Peterborough earlier this month.
Ben Alderton, 9, Kendle Putter, 10 and Lucas Hilcenko, 10, all competed in the Championships.
Ben competed in both the 200m breaststroke and 50m freestyle events, winning Gold in the breaststroke and claiming a personal best in both categories.
Kendle came first in the 100m backstroke and achieved a personal best in the 100m butterfly event.
Lucas competed in the 200m breaststroke and both the 50m and 200m freestyle events, winning Bronze in the breaststroke and also achieving a personal best in the 50m freestyle category.
Head of King’s Ely Junior, Richard Whymark, said: “To see Ben, Lucas and Kendle compete so well was fantastic. We are very proud of their achievements.”
