King’s Ely equestrian team experienced success after teams and individuals travelled to Bedfordshire to take part in Keysoe College Equestrian Centre’s event.

A mixture of experienced team members and some new recruits took to the saddle and produced winning results on Sunday November 22.

The 70cms team of Ryan Shaw, Ellie Grimsey, Rebecca Everitt and Eleanor Fairey all produced clear rounds and rode to victory.

Individual placings of second, fourth and tenth were secured by Ryan Shaw, Ellie Grimsey and Eleanor Fairey respectively.

There was another win for King’s Ely, as an individual in the 90cms class which was achieved by Katie Cameron in a competitive class with a large number of entries. Katie also came third in the 80cms and one metre class.

Freia Gould also competed in the one metre class, producing an impressive round, coming second only a few seconds behind the winner.
