Karting Ely’s Bryony King enjoyed a solid weekend of racing in the second round of the Little Green Man series, held in Kimbolton.
The Ely College student was in action on Saturday and Sunday against a packed grid of competitors.
In the first heat, King came through to finish fifth, setting the fastest lap of the race. She then had an 11th from 32nd racers and a fifth, despite being hit off at the start.
Her performance in the heats earned King fifth place on the grid for the final but an error cost King a few places at the start.
She was unaffected, though, and worked her way back to seventh, despite an issue with the kart.
