Netball The City of Ely Netball Club came away as under 16 runners up in Saturday’s Cambridgeshire County Junior Netball Tournament.
City won three of their four 30-minute matches, losing only to eventual winners St Neots U16.
The two teams finished equal on points but St Neots had a better goal difference, so claiming the title.
The tournament was organised by Chatteris Netball Club.
A spokesman for the club said: “City’s squad of 10 players did exceptionally well because it was made up of five U14s who played up in the competition alongside five U16s.”
