Ely's Ben Mitchell (left) is still unbeaten this season and notched another win last Monday.

Ely bounced back to winning ways with a convincing 18-6 victory over Melbourn II away last Monday.

Glen Campbell struggled early on, not quite being able to work out his opponent.

He fought hard but was edged out 3-1 overall (15-13, 10-15, 16-14, 15-11).

There was better luck for the rest of the team however; Jamie Woor proving to be a real utility player for the team, won at number four.

He won 3-1 but this was a more comfortable affair, with he scoring at 15-13, 15-8, 13-15, 15-4.

Playing at number three this week saw the return of Linden Beattie.

He kept up his fine form with a very convincing 3-0 demolition of his opponent, winning 15-6, 15-5, 15-8.

Kevin Lorimer got back to winning ways with a comfortable 3-1 victory. He won 15-5, 15-3, 11-15, 15-7.

Ben Mitchell continued to keep his place as the top player in the league with another fine victory at number one. This was also relatively comfortable, winning 15-4, 11-15, 15-9, 15-13.

Next up for Ely is Kimbolton I at home Wednesday night.
