Cricket The Kwik Cricket team from the Rackham Primary School in Witchford emerged as this season’s county champions.
After winning all their four matches in the North Cambridge District tournament to qualify for the finals, they then went on to win all their six games in the county finals held at Clare College University ground.
As the Cambridgeshire champions they now go on to the national finals to compete against all the 12 county winners from London and the Eastern Counties.
Cricket coach and recently retired head teacher from Rackham, Sid Wales, said: “This season has been a tremendous team success with different children playing well in different games.”
