A Lewis Hook hat-trick and a man-of-the-match performance from Tomas Funnell saw Crusaders to a fine win.

Hook scored with an early solo effort and then tapped in from close range. Isleham pulled one back instantly, but Funnell made it 3-1 at the break.

Another fine Hook strike and Sam Scarborough double were scored before Isleham grabbed a consolation goal.

Under 10s

WITCHFORD got back to winning ways thanks to goals from Euan Gilmour and Nathan Parker.

Soham battled hard but just could not find the net.

Willingham Wolves 1 Witchford Colts 5

THREE first-half goals and a no-nonsense display from stand-in goalkeeper Brandon Phillips saw Witchford to victory.

Tommy Corlito opened the scoring after good wing play from David Mayle. Al Hewitt doubled the lead after intercepting a goal kick and then scored again after collecting man of the match Spencer Saberton's superb pass.

Corlito's long-range effort made it 4-0, and after Willingham scored a penalty, Saberton started another slick move which ended with Connor Meads knocking in a rebound from Hewitt's shot.

Thurlow Youth 3 Soham Town Colts 5

SOHAM staged a remarkable comeback after going 3-0 down in the first 20 minutes.

An Alistair Hutchinson brace made it 3-2 at half-time and the superb Ross Davey collected Jordy Turpin's cheeky back-heel to equalise.

An unfortunate mistake by the Thurlow keeper gave Soham the lead before Conan Isaacson glanced a header over the keeper.

Under-12

Littleport 6 Swavesey Spartans 1

'PORT produced their best performance of the season to record a comfortable win.

Colt Harvey used his pace to score a breakaway goal and the same man converted Harlee Carter's cross to make it 2-0, before notching two more for a 4-0 half-time lead.

After Swavesey pulled one back, a 25-yard Thomas Green scorcher and Harvey's fifth sealed the rout.

Under-12 girls

Witchford 3 Comberton 2

WITCHFORD opened the scoring when a Georgia Day cross was fired home by Hannah Dewey and in the first 10 seconds of the second half the two linked again for Day to find the net.

Comberton pulled one back but Witchford stood firm and the scoring was completed when Zoe MacDonald passed down the line to Eleanor Grace, who whipped in a cross for Rebecca Lowe to finish.

Parkside 2000 1

HADDENHAM captain Alex Lowe inspired his team to victory with two second-half goals.

Parkside took the lead on 28 minutes with a neat headed goal.

Haddenham dominated the second half and Lowe drilled in a volley from 12 yards following a corner.

Seven minutes from the end Lowe fired a dipping shot from the edge of the area.

Littleport Town 4 Balsham Colts 3

NICO Bishop's third successive hat-trick saw 'Port edge a superb match.

Bishop's penalty equalised after Balsham took the lead and Billy Carter's first goal of the season put 'Port ahead but the visitors levelled before half-time.

A Bishop brace put the hosts back in front.

Balsham pulled one back with a penalty but superb performances from midfielder Ben Jewitt and stand-in goalkeeper Joseph Murfitt ensured 'Port held on.

Under-14

Soham United 8 Cottenham 2

SOHAM started well with Adam Cook catching out the away keeper with a dipping long-range effort.

Olly Henderson made it two after good work from the lively Ryan Anderson. Luke Sells set up Callum Eley for a 20-yard cracker and the same man made it 4-0.

Eley got his hat-trick shortly after the break with another long-range effort.

The visitors pulled one back before man of the match Henderson added two more quick goals for his hat-trick.

Cottenham added another, before Ben Newell completed the rout.

Ely Crusaders 0 Huntingdon Rowdies 3

The scoreline belied the match in what was Crusaders first home match of the season.

The visitors had a strong defence which the Ely forwards struggled to get past in the first half.

In the second half Ely had most of the play, forcing Rowdies to make the saves but the game was already lost

A CRACKING Matt Thorpe goal put Crusaders ahead and Shaun Marston made it 2-0 before the break.

Liam Bishop rounded the goalkeeper to make it three before the hosts scored a consolation goal.
