CITY of Ely bowler Greg Harlow romped to his second EIBA Champion of Champions title after beating Tony Webb 21-9.
Harlow took control of the tie early in the piece but was forced to fend off a spirited fight back from Webb before a series of key ends ultimately secured a comfortable victory.
Webb came into the final buoyed by the 21-13 defeat of world singles champion Billy Jackson in the semis and provided a stern test for Harlow after racing to a 9-8 lead in the games opening exchanges.
Harlow managed to steady the ship soon after though, and, after a decisive mistake from Webb, was able to open up a sizeable lead. Harlow upped his game taking four on the next end and Webb did not pick up another shot as Harlow's precision bowling closed out the match.
