TRIATHLON: A HALF 'Ironman' Triathlon, described as one of the hardest in the world, took place at Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor, on Sunday.
Ely Runners Richard and Gina Handoll were among the 1,250 entrants, 915 starters, and 856 finishers. The 70.3 mile event comprised a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run. Richard finished 628th and Gina 786th.
