HADDENHAM swept to victory in double quick time at Willingham to ensure they kept themselves in the hunt for promotion.
Opting to bowl first, a fine all-round team effort ensured that Willingham were seldom comfortable at the crease and were eventually bowled out for just 97. Nigel Morton led the way with 3-26.
Needing a little shy of 2.5 per over for the win, time was on the visitors side, but with the rain closing in victory was far from assured. Seizing the mantle, captain Geoff Buck smashed his way to 62* as Haddenham sealed victory before the adverse weather could deny them the points.
